REMEMBER

God gave your senses

so you’d always know

I’ll always be with you

where ever you go.

He gave you your eyes

so you could see,

Remember

your special times with me.

He gave you your ears

so you could hear,

Remember

the times I said, ‘I love you Dear’.

He gave you the gift

that you could feel,

Remember

my love, my touch each time you kneel.

He gave you the magic

that you could smell,

Remember

have faith we’ll meet again at the tolling bell.

So,

When you see the sun in the sky

Remember

Its really me,

My twinkling eye.

And when you feel the breeze that blows your hair

Remember

Its really me

my loving touch and silent prayer.

And when you hear the song of the bird

Remember

Its really me

my voice you’ve heard.

When you smell each fragrant flower

Remember

Its really me

nestled in Mother Nature’s bower.

God gave you the miracle to taste in life

Both the bitter and the sweet

Remember

We are God’s Lambs summoned to His feet.

So,

When you taste the salt in tears

that come with the pain as you grieve

Remember

Its really me, don’t ever feel you don’t believe.

As you come today to spread my ashes

along the trail, beneath the pines

Remember

my smile, my laugh, my eyes, their flashes.

When you’ll see the heavens lighted by the moon

and hear the call of the wilderness loon.

Remember

I am here, I will always be near.

Yes, ------ God gave you these senses

so we’d never be apart,

Remember

I’ll always be with you when I dwell within your heart.
